Deze Grand Cru Classé is eigendom van de familie Aubert. Het ligt prachtig, direct bij binnenkomst van het dorp Saint-Emilion. Dochter Heloïse Aubert is de wijnmaakster en wordt bijgestaan door Michel Rolland.
De wijn heeft een zeer zachte en verfijnde stijl en wordt integraal gevinifieerd in kleine eiken vaten. Deze nieuwe techniek vereist zeer veel werk, omdat alle vaten 3 maal per dag gedraaid (of geroerd) moeten worden voor een maximale extractie. Deze techniek levert complexere wijn met zeer veel elegantie.
Robert Parker (90-92/100): "An outstanding sleeper of the vintage, the 2005 may turn out to be one of the finest examples yet of this modern-styled St.-Emilion. Nicely oaked, ripe but not over-ripe, it possesses a deep ruby/purple color as well as sweet scents of pain grille, kirsch liqueur, and black currants. Ripe, medium to full-bodied, and rich, with good glycerin as well as freshness, and a long, heady finish, this succulent offering should be enjoyed over the next 10-15 years."
